Cobra Burnout

A few years ago, we participated in the Cenla Hotrod Reunion. As with most of the shows that we attend, the burnout compettion is the big draw for those in attendance.  The 2006 show had some of the  hotest burnouts we’ve ever seen, including the one of Ray in his 2004 Mustang Cobra.  The burnout was a hit as he smoked his tires while shifting through four gears. The burnout was videod by CWSnake, a SVT Performance member, who uploaded it to our club sites and then in turn posted to svtperformance.com.  From there, people would pull the video, originally loaded in AVI format, and upload it to youtube. The video has become one of the most viewed videos of any car on youtube. The video is a hit. Now, the lesson to be learned here is this: Make sure you watermark your videos before you upload or else you’ll lose ownership.  There’s nothing wrong with sharing something that so many people love to see, just make sure all credit is given where it’s due.
